About Us

Al Schlafer founded Schlafer Auto Body in November of 1974, while he was still a senior in high school.  The shop quickly gained public recognition for quality work and knowledgeable assistance.  Schlafer Auto Body has grown from a small body shop to a complete body shop and used car dealer.  Al's son, Danny, has joined the team and also built a reputation as a customer oriented craftsman and professional.

With this considerable experience, we have the knowledge to work on cars from yesteryear all the way to the present.  Managing the insurance company paperwork for you is Debbie, she has the experience to make sure you do not pay more than the insurance quote

Estimate

At Schlafer Auto Body we use our expertise in writing a thorough and comprehensive estimate of damage to your advantage.  By identifying repairs before the vehicle is brought to the shop we can be sure to have the necessary parts available to us when it comes time to work on the vehicle.  All this helps get you back in your car and on the road faster. 

All estimates are free of charge and easy to read.  We have digital imaging capabilities that we can use to report damages to insurance companies.  Our repair times on estimates are determined using ADP estimating software.
